Youshine Jewellery Website Review and My Haul

This time around, the review is on Youshine Jewelleryand my shopping experience with them! I was in need of some statement necklaces and was in no mood of going out and doing shopping. So resorted to our favorite way of shopping these days, Online.

Step 1

Step 1

Website:  The interface is quite a simple one, self explanatory and easy to navigate. All offering are positioned under respective header. The product descriptions mostly included a photograph of the product and a model showcasing the same. The pictures give an approximate idea as to the size of the products. The website offers credit cards, debit cards, net banking and COD as options for payment. COD options would be charged an additional INR50 if the value of the order is below INR500. With purchases of value more than INR500, there is a free gift included.

Step 3

Order Processing: I ordered few of these pieces from Youshine on 5th (Friday night) and I got my order delivered on 8th Monday. Since it was the first time I was using the website, I had gone for a COD option. I was not charged additionally for the same! I found the product delivery quite quick and hassle free. A confirmation mail was received on my email and I also received an SMS confirmation. At each stage during the process like confirmation and shipping, I was intimated about the same. Email and SMS included details of shipping along with tracking number. The shipping was done very next day. If the Sunday did not come in between I am sure, I would have received the same the very second day. Please note that the shipping address was to a metro. So it has its own pros in terms of shipping and handling time.

Step 6

Price & Quality: The best time to purchase from the website is during weekdays as you can avail few discounts. If you purchase more than 5 pieces during weekdays, you get a 25% off on the total amount. So as far the pricing goes, I tried to make most of discounts, so in effect I didn’t pay much for individual pieces. I would say between INR 200-INR 350 per piece!!! :-) . Now coming to the quality. I would rate the build quality as average. In fact for the price you pay, the quality offered is pretty good. The overall finish and plating is okayish. I mean the pieces are quite nice but at some level, should I say a bit of perfections is missing? But again reiterating, for the amount you pay the pieces, models and the collections are worth it.

Yays:

  • Uncomplicated website
  • Quick shipping
  • SMS and Email confirmation on order and shipping details
  • Multiple payment options
  • Free gift above INR 500 purchases
  • Weekday discounts
  • Reasonably priced

Nays:

  • Slightly lacks overall perfection in some jewellery pieces (But I should say, value for money)
  • Sold out products remain the same for long time
  • I am not confident about the plating quality. I hope the colors last for sometime. But the best bets are ones with less plating involoved like the bead ones!

Round Up: Youshine do have some gorgeous jewellery to offer at very reasonable rates. Some designs offered are worth checking out. The website is user friendly and they do offer multiple payment mode options.

And here is my Chotu Haul!!!!
