When it comes to lipsticks, MAC has a range of finishes and shades to choose from. There is something for everyone and I have found myself few favourites

How it fared:

Packaging:  The signature MAC black bullet. The cap closes well. It is sturdy and travel friendly.

Fragrance: They are vanilla scented and the fragrance is a very mild one.

Shade: MAC describes the shade as muted brownish Plum and that’s exactly how it looks on me. It is a universally flattering shade and a must have for Indian skin tones.

Finish: Viva Glam III is a matte finish lipstick. Like most mattes from MAC, it is creamy and glides on smoothly without any tugging or pulling. It is not drying or heavy on lips but I prefer to prep the lips with a lip balm prior to application. The lipstick gives opaque coverage and a single swipe is all you need to deposit adequate color. As a result, it will work on pigmented lips as well.

Longevity: The lipstick gives me a wear of about 4 hours. Post that I find that it starts to fade evenly. However if you use a liner as base, it stays on for slightly longer time.
