Another pick from the MAC Alluring Aquatic collection that I have been abusing a lot lately. (Don’t believe me, take a look at the pics)!
A liquid-powder blush with prismatic reflections in two shimmering shades. Impact ranges from sheer crystallized light to a highly polished metallic effect. Lasts up to six hours. Limited-edition teal packaging, dramatically accented with sheer water droplets.
Price: $27.50 for 6.5g
How it fared:
MAC described Seduced at Sea as Midtone Neutral Plum. Though I do not sense discernable plum shade, the shade is nevertheless lovely. On me it is a muted orange red shade with golden shimmers. A very summery shade indeed. Though the pigmentation is true to pan, on deeper skin tones it will take a few layering for actual shade to show up. It is not because of the pigmentation as such but more due to the muted nature of the shade itself. The blush layers really well and blends effortlessly. The shimmers never appear over the top nor did they emphasize pores.
The texture was soft and smooth. The brush picked up the product easily. Mac Seduced at Sea is packaging in the same Teal packaging accented with water droplets. Alluring Aquatic collection has one of the better LE packaging offering from MAC.
Overall Verdict: MAC Seduced at Sea Extra Dimension Blush stands out not only for being a gorgeous summer shade but for the top notch formula. This blush has reiterated my love for MAC’s Extra Dimension blush formula. I would have probably gone for theSea me Hear me blush too if it hadnt been quite similar to MAC Autoerotique.
