Five stackable jars of Pigment in Just Before Dawn, Deep Blue Green and Old Gold, and Glitter in 3D Gold and Reflects Gold. Packaged in a glossy black box embellished in white and gold. Limited edition.
How it fared:
I love Pigments from MAC. The regular sized pigments are priced at around $21 for 4.5g. That is a lot of product that I don’t see many of us using up. So the best way to invest in MAC pigments is getting their Pigment and Glitter sets.
The set Green and Teal contains 3 pigments and 2 glitters; Old Gold, Deep Blue Green and Just Before dawn (Pigments); Reflects Gold and 3D Gold (Glitters)
Old Gold: Mac describes the shade as High frosted Tarnish gold in frost finsh. The shade is actually a gorgeous greenish gold shade that renders a frosted to metallic finish. It has excellent color payoff both wet and dry. The pigment is part of Permanent range.
Deep Blue Green: MAC describes the shade as rich deep bluish green in frosted finish. The pigment as excellent color payoff when wet and renders a frosted to metallic finish. The pigment is part of Permanent range.
Just Before Dawn: MAC Describes the shade as warm taupe frost with frost finish. The shade is more a greyish taupe and the finish is less frosted than the above 2. The pigment is Limited edition.
Reflects Gold: MAC describes the glitter as white glitter than flashes gold. These are very fine glitters and are part of permanent range.
3D Gold: MAC describes the glitter as Sparkly chunky old. This is such a pretty glitter that flashes a range of shades in different light. This is my favorite from the set
Another point to note is that MAC advertises these glitters as not eye or lip safe. Though I use them as eye products, I thought of mentioning the same. These are cosmetic grade glitters though.
Overall: If you love pigments and haven’t grabbed one of these already, get going.
