Saturday is the best day of the week for me. I can laze around all I want, do what I want and still there is Sunday to look forward to. I have some plans of shopping in my mind so all together I feel hyper. Sitting down to review, I thought of introducing the Cremeblend Blushes from MAC. Right now I have taken Posey off the shelf after a long time and let’s see how it fared!
A blush that manages to make a simple blush state-of-the-art. Creamy, easy to blend medium coverage formula imparts a natural finish that’s smooth, dewy-fresh, long-lasting.
Price: INR 1350/ USD 21 for 5.6g
How it fared:
MAC describes the shade as warm peach. MAC Cremeblend blush Posey is a coral pink shade that is universally flattering. It is one of the prettiest shades from the Cremeblend range. The shade is adequately pigmented and is very much buildable without any effort. It looks gorgeous on light to medium skin tones.
The blush blends easily and looks very natural. Though cream blushes look their best during winters and even give a longer wear during that time of the year, I like it all year around. The finish imparted is dewy which I love. The blush blends seamlessly leaving a natural flush of color on cheeks. I personally prefer to use my 187 brush to blend the blush and result is perfect.
Posey stays on me without fading for nearly 4 hours. This is the where we disagree. I want it to stay a bit longer but it won’t, stubborn I might add .Setting with a powder blush slightly improves the wear time. Not to forget that the low wear time could be because of the hot and humid climate in this part of the world. I have to mention that the cream blushes can be used as a solid base for powder blushes. The packaging is the typical MAC round black pot with a transparent lid.
