After a series of Limited edition reviews from MAC, I thought of reviewing for you my all time favourite and staple make-up remover, MAC cleanse off oil.
MAC description of the product:

How it fared:
MAC cleanse off oil comes with a pump dispenser that can turned to lock the pump. However the locking itself is clumsy in the sense that the cap can be easily moved back and forth. So in terms of being travel friendly I doubt its abilities. But this is where all cons of the product starts and ends for me. From here on its bang on. Read on to know how it fared..
Make-up or no make-up , for me at the end of the day, a good cleanse is a must. I can vouch for how much difference a good CTM routine can make to your skin. Even though MAC is known for its make-up range, I have found few gems in their skin care range as well. That’s how I ended up checking out the cleanse-off oil and oh glad I am I did! MAC description of the product is in fact very apt. The cleanser is oil based as suggested by the name but emulsifies into a white liquid on contact with water. After rinse off with water, it leaves behind no oily residue. You might not even believe that you just used an oil based cleanser.
I usually use 2 pumps of the cleanser for my whole face and neck. The general process I follow is massaging the cleanser on to my skin for about a minute so that it gets ample time to do its work and then wash off with warm water. You can actually feel the make-up coming off easily during the massage process. It removes any stubborn make-up like waterproof mascaras and foundations without much effort. The end result is clean, smooth and conditioned skin. There is absolutely no drying of the facial skin. In fact I don’t feel the need for any immediate moisturising.
The cleanse off oil differs from the usual home-made cleansing oils in the fact that it emulsifies in to a non oily form on contact with water which makes it suitable for all skin types. Even Oily/combination skin types need not give a second thought to the oil based part because it only aids in effective make-up removal without leaving even a trace of oily residue behind.
So if you are looking for an effective mineral oil free daily cleanser which not only removes the waterproof make-up effectively but also aids in skin conditioning, this just might be it. For me, Cleanse off oil is here to stay!
