Who doesn’t enjoy a good face masque. Well I know I do. I love that 15 minutes of bliss and the mess too. I also like to share these minutes with Kiehls Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Mask quite often. I will tell you why.
A cleansing masque that helps to purify skin and visibly minimize pores; Formulated with Amazonian White Clay to gently draw out oil, dirt and toxins that clog pores; The addition of Oatmeal and Aloe Vera helps to soothe.
Price: $23 for 5.0 fl. Oz
How it fared:
The packaging is a plastic tub one with a wide mouth and a twist open cap. Nothing fancy but works well for what it is intended. The mask is a light grey colored one with a creamy consistency. It is easy to spread out and applies even. The consistency is just right for a masque. The mask dries down pretty quickly. I leave it on for usually 10-15 minutes before washing it off. It is an instant pick me up mask . The mask did not leave my skin dry and parched like the usual clay masks although I like to follow up with a light weight moisturizer. The effect did last on a few days too and wasn’t momentary. I do not have acne issues so I wouldn’t be able to comment on the effect. As for the pores, they do appear to be minimized and less promiscuous on continued usage of masque. But it does take sometime to show any permanent effect on the same. It has not completely taken care of the open pores but on prolonged use I have noticed that there is subtle yet commendable difference.
Overall Verdict: Kiehls Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque is a really great option for a home facial. It has been a staple for me for a very long time and I have every intention to repurchase it. I love the soft glow it imparts and the non-drying creamy texture.
