Inspired by light and created by Guerlain, Météorites Pearls employ the technology of white light, which is used in photography and film to erase imperfections and soften features. A constellation of 6 multi-colored pearls blend together for a flawless, radiant complexion. These pearls-with-a-purpose have now been reinvented in 3 color harmonies that are adapted to each skintone.

How it fared:
Guerlain meteorites is one of my favorite product from Guerlain. The packaging is a round plastic tub with a metallic layout. It comes with a powder puff. The cap closes firmly. Overall the packaging is luxe typical of Guerlain.
There are 3 shades to choose from; Teint Rose, Teint Beige and Teint Dore. The shade I am reviewing is Teint Dore. For reference my skin tone is NC40 in MAC.
Teint Dore has a combination of chocolate, golden and champagne pearls. Swirled together the resultant powder is a soft golden shade with sheen. The shimmers in meteorites powder does not blend completely and remain noticeable. At the same time I do not find the shimmer over the top. It is just a barely there subtle shimmer and sheen that is typical of the meteorites. The powder can be used both as a highlighter or a finishing powder. I prefer the latter way of using it because as a highlighter it is a tad bit subtle for my taste. I love using Meteorites as a finishing powder for the subtle glow and softness it imparts to the whole look.
Overall Verdict: I am not surprised Meteorites have a cult following. It is every bit worth the hype. One product I will definitely repurchase. For those of you who prefer pressed powders, there is a pressed variant of meteorites available too.
