There aren’t many liquid blushes that I am wowed about. There has been some decent ones like the ones from MUFE but never a really great one to rave about. I quite like the texture of Armani foundation so a blush along the same lines really intrigued me.
Maestro Fusion Blush by Giorgio Armani is a revolutionary liquid blush that highlights your cheeks with a luminous, weightless formula.
Price: $52 for 0.6Oz
How it fared:
The packaging is quite similar to the Maestro foundation except this is slightly thinner and taller. Otherwise it’s the same dropper mechanism. The texture of the blush is similar to the Maestro foundation. The most stand out factor is the pigmentation. It is just too too pigmented. You don’t even need half a drop for both the cheeks together! For the very same reason it is quite easy to go overboard with this one. If you aren’t mad about pigmented blushes, then it’s an easy skip for you. The bush stays blendable for a few seconds before setting. At the same time it does not go streaky or patchy while blending. I do not find it staining yet quite long wearing. Once set, it just doesn’t budge. It is one of the most long wearing blushes that I have come across. I easily get a wear time of around 10+ hours without much fading.
The shade 300 is a very pretty coral orange shade that looks extremely flattering on a range of skin tones. With a light hand it gives a natural flush on my cheeks that looks very natural. The shade just blends in and gives the illusion of a natural flush. At any rate it did not give an illusion of painted on cheeks. For the pigmented shade it is, with a light hand it came out surprisingly well as a natural looking shade on me.
Overall Verdict: Since I have brought this one, I have hardly used any other blush from my collection. It isn’t just the formula but the pretty coral orange shade that turns out be very flattering on my medium warm skin tone. At the same time, I have to warn you that this is a very very pigmented blush. So if you have a hard time working with pigmented blushes, this one can be quite overwhelming. Personally, I loved it.
