I have been religiously using the Night cream from Forest essentials for some time now and so here are my thoughts on the same.
Forest Essentials description of the product:
“These intensive night treatments encapsulate high-performance vitamins, enzymes and hydrators to deliver vital nutrition to the skin. They work most effectively at night while the skin is at rest.
Targets Premature Aging
A corrective night performance cream designed especially for combination or oily skin types. Pure Jasmine and Patchouli oils, renowned for their therapeutic qualities, soothe the skin, neutralize oil production and give it an even tone. Natural olive extracts target premature ageing, while stimulating rice bran oil retains moisture and elasticity.
• Suitable for normal to oily skin types.”
Price: INR 1275
How it fared:
Forest Essentials Night Treatment Cream Jasmine & Patchouli is a light weight night cream that is suited for normal to oily skin. The cream gets absorbed super quick and just disappears on to the skin without even a trace of oiliness. In fact my skin loves it.
The fragrance of the night cream is quite intense and smells predominantly of jasmine. It is not the disturbing synthetic kind of smell but is a very refreshing, calming, divine scent. I love it.
The packaging is sturdy but quite bulky . Because of the tub packaging, you would require a separate spatula to take out the product each time so that there is no fear of contamination. The quantity included is about 50g which will last you for a long time. You require very little for each use and the cream spreads like a dream.
The night cream provides intense mositurization and over a period of use I have noticed overall smooth supple skin. It’s a delight to feel the skin after I wake up in the mornings. It feels softer, hydrated and rested. There is a noticeable evenness in the skin tone as well.
Yays:
- Light weight
- Easily absorbed
- Appealing fragrance
- Little goes a long way
- Non sticky and non oily
- Leaves no residue behind on absorption
- Hydrates the skin well
- Contributes to smooth and even toned skin
Nays:
- Like all FE products, expensive
- Packaging is bulky
- Tub packaging is unhygienic unless used with a spatula to scoop the product
Overall I am quite happy with the night cream. However I wouldn’t attribute all the improvements in terms of skin texture to the night cream alone as I use it in conjunction with a serum and few other products as well. Nevertheless I believe the night cream works as it is supposed to and I am quite happy with it. It is one of the products in my repurchase list.

Was thinking of getting this and tadaaa.. here comes ur review
I have hyperpigmention issues and was wondering whether this would help with that.. and what serum are u using Vini ?
Glad Could be of help !
It dont think it specifically targets hyper pigmentation Ash. Mainly it works in hydrating and resting the skin. Serum is the Clarins one.
